The larger metro-Edmonton Alberta area is blessed with nearby outdoor activities. This site started as a snowshoe guide but has expanded to include anything the primary audience shows an interest in. Who is the primary audience, ME!

A Risky Site Dedicated to ME!
I enjoy cycling, paddling, walking, hiking, etc. I am not sure I will ever crawl back into a tent, but it might happen, and a luxury recreational vehicle is always an option.
“But what about ME” you might be asking. “I want to get out too!” Feel free to READ about the places I have gone to and let me know your thoughts. While I hope this site inspires you, this site is not intended to guide or instruct you due to risk and legal reasons. Specifically, take note of the following:
DO NOT Get Out of BED!
Life is a Risky Affair and therefore I recommend that you Stay in Bed with the covers pulled tightly over your head. You will be nice, safe and warm there.
Danger Will Robinson. If you are foolish enough to get out of bed and go on adventures you may get lost, break a leg, get scratched, stung or other horrible things.
What Would Your Doctor Think! Your doctor may want you to stay in bed rather than risk exacerbating some known or unknown medical condition.
No Help for YOU! In bed you can readily call for help. Some of the places on this site don’t even have cell-service. This means you can’t even binge Seinfeld while waiting for a rescue.
This Site is For ME Alone. I am willing to assume the risks of stepping on the floor, getting dressed, and going somewhere.
… the buzz of life in the summer, the riot of colours in the fall, the stillness of winter, and the re-awakening in the spring makes the risk worthwhile, for ME!
… I have written notes to help ME remember, to go back, and to tell stories about where I have been.Life is worth the risk, but that is MY perspective. For you, STAY IN BED!
Life is Risky, Stay in Bed – This Site is for ME!.
